Turf Soccer Shoes
The game changes as much as the surfaces it's played on.
As more schools, leagues, and clubs opt to train and play on artificial surfaces players are seeing the benefit of having a pair of soccer turf shoes in their rotation. Featuring rubber soles and smaller rounded studs, turf shoes give soccer players an advantage in avoidiing plant injuries, saving their feet from stud pressure, and moving quicker without sinking in on softer turf and artificial surfaces.
You shouldn't retire your Firm-Ground cleats, and if you don't already have a pair, it's likely you should start there. But there's an undeniable advantage to both your game and your recovery to have a dedicated pair of turfs in rotation for training days.
